How to Assign an API Client to a User Group 🚀

Assigning an API client to a user group is essential for controlling access permissions and ensuring users can utilize the API smoothly.

Only members of the Account Manager group can open Access control (IAM), invite users, or manage API clients.

  1. Log in to Live Hub

  2. Open Access control (IAM)

    • Click Current account in the top-left corner of the Live Hub window, and then click Access control (IAM). It opens in a new browser tab.

  3. Navigate to User Groups

    • In the IAM interface, select User Groups to see the list of available groups.

  4. Select the Desired User Group

    • Locate and click Edit next to the user group you want to assign an API client to.

  5. Assign API Client

    • In the API Clients tab, click Add API Client, choose the API client from the dropdown list, and add it to the user group.

  6. Save Changes

    • Click Save to confirm the assignment.

  7. Verify Assignment

    • Check that the API client now appears as a member of the selected user group to confirm the setup.
