How to Assign an API Client to a User Group πŸš€

Assigning an API client to a user group is essential for controlling access permissions and ensuring users can utilize the API smoothly.

  1. Log in to LiveHub

    • Go to LiveHub Login and log in using your administrator credentials.

  2. Access IAM

    • Click on your Profile icon in the top-right corner and select Manage Account (IAM).

  3. Navigate to User Groups

    • In the IAM interface, select User Groups to see the list of available groups.

  4. Select the Desired User Group

    • Locate and click Edit next to the user group you want to assign an API client to.

  5. Assign API Client

    • In the API Clients tab, click Add API Client, choose the API client from the dropdown list, and add it to the user group.

  6. Save Changes

    • Click Save to confirm the assignment.

  7. Verify Assignment

    • Check that the API client now appears as a member of the selected user group to confirm the setup.
