A speech provider lets Live Hub use your own account with a speech vendor for speech-to-text, text-to-speech, or both. Live Hub also pre-deploys some services, which need no provider of your own.
Vendors you can add:
Speech-to-text and text-to-speech: Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Deepgram, ElevenLabs, Soniox, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI
Text-to-speech only: Inworld, Cartesia, Deepdub
Speech-to-text only: AC DNN, Speechmatics
Custom integration, for a service of your own
The steps are the same whichever vendor you use: you name the provider, select the Live Hub region, and supply the vendor's own credentials.
To add a speech provider:
Open Speech providers
In the Navigation pane, select Speech providers.
Add a new speech provider
Click Add new speech provider.
Name the provider
On the 'Define your speech provider' screen, in the 'Speech provider name' field, enter a name.
Choose the region
From the 'Live Hub region' drop-down list, select the region your Live Hub voice infrastructure runs in.
Choose the service type and vendor
Select the speech type — speech-to-text or text-to-speech — then select the vendor and complete its fields. Have the vendor's credentials and endpoint URLs ready before you start.
Create
Click Create.
An Essential account can hold up to 30 speech providers. You then select the speech-to-text and text-to-speech services on the bot connection's Settings tab.
Speak Easy! 🗣️✨
Warm regards,
The Live Hub Team 🚀
