We are thrilled to have you as part of our August community. To ensure everyone has a positive experience using August, we have established some essential Trust and Safety Guidelines. These guidelines are designed to help us all interact harmoniously and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for Landlords and Tenants using August.

Bullying & Harassment

Users of August must refrain from targeting others with unwelcome behaviour or expressing an intent to cause harm through interactions within August. This includes posting or sending content that endorses or promotes illegal or harmful activities, or that is sexually explicit, violent, graphic, threatening, or harassing through any of August's features.

Spam

All August users are prohibited from misusing our support services or submitting false reports of abuse or misconduct within August. This includes unwanted contact or repeatedly sharing content in a disruptive manner.

Responsiveness

Landlords are expected to respond within a reasonable time when maintenance requests are filed.

Disputes

All interactions should be conducted respectfully, utilising any communication features provided by August. August will not participate in resolving disputes between landlords and tenants.
