When do I pay tax, title, and licensing fees?

Government fees like tax, title, and registration fees are typically paid when titling and registering a vehicle. You are ultimately responsible for paying these fees either through PSX or directly to the state. If we support this service in your area, we'll collect some or all of these fees and remit them to the state on your behalf. In some cases, we collect taxes and title fees but not registration fees. In these cases, we’ll complete the title transfer, but you must register the vehicle and pay the required registration fees directly to the state.
