How to Add Avaana WorkCover Services to Nookal

This guide will help you set up services in your Nookal account so they can work with Avaana WorkCover bookings.

⚠️ Important: While you may already have existing WorkCover services in your Nookal system, you must create separate services for Avaana so WorkCover bookings can be correctly synced with your practice management software.

Steps

  1. Log in to your Nookal account.

  2. From the dashboard, click Setup in the top navigation menu.

  3. Under Items, select Services.

  4. To create a new service, click + Create Service.

    Enter the required service details:

    • Code

    • Service Name

    • Description

    • Category (create a new category if needed)

    • Duration

    • Price

    • Providers (select All Providers)

    • Locations

    • Integrations (tick Enable integrations)

    • Name

    • Details

  5. Once you have completed all service information, click + Create Service on the bottom right.

  6. Repeat steps 4–5 for all services required for your modality (physiotherapy or psychology).


To Enable These Services for Online Bookings

Steps

  1. Go to Setup > Extensions > Online Bookings - New.

  2. Select the location where the service should be available.

  3. Under Policies, ensure all relevant options are set to Active.

  4. In the Available Types section, tick the box next to the new service to enable it.

  5. Click Save Changes in the bottom right corner.
