How to Complete or Update Your Practitioner Profile

Follow these steps to complete or update each practitioner profile so WorkCover claimants can get to know you and view your schedule

Steps

  1. Go to Avaana (avaana.com.au). Navigate to Provider Log In, then enter your registered email address and password to access your account.

  2. Go to the Practitioners page from the left-hand menu.

    Click the practitioner’s name or the green pen icon to access their practitioner profile.

  3. Fill out all required information:

    • Enter the practitioner’s AHPRA number and click OK to automatically populate their general information.

      • Ensure you complete the About this practitioner text box.

      • Upload a high-quality image, as this is what claimants see first when selecting a practitioner to book with.

    • Click Validate AHPRA to proceed.

  4. Enable WorkCover:

    • Select the appropriate Modality Type

    • Enter your SIRA number
      ⚠️ It should be marked as VALID or PARTIALLY VALID, which is acceptable. If it shows as INVALID, please check the format of the SIRA number.

    • Choose the service delivery type
      ⚠️ We currently accept in-person appointments for physiotherapy only, and in-person or online appointments for psychology. Mobile services are not supported at this time.

  5. Click Save changes in the top-right corner.


Notes

  • The email address entered in your practitioner profile will be used for booking notifications, communication from Avaana, and personal account access.
