Steps
Go to Avaana (avaana.com.au). Navigate to Provider Log In, then enter your registered email address and password to access your account.
Go to the Practitioners page in the left-hand menu and select the practitioner profile you want to enable WorkCover for.
Scroll to the bottom of the profile and toggle WorkCover Referrals to Enabled.
Once WorkCover is enabled:
Select the appropriate Modality Type
Enter your SIRA number
⚠️ The status should show VALID or PARTIALLY VALID, which is acceptable. If it shows INVALID, please check the format of the SIRA number.Choose the service delivery type
⚠️ We currently accept in-person appointments for physiotherapy only, and in-person or online appointments for psychology. Mobile services are not supported at this time.
Once completed, click Save changes in the top-right corner.
After enabling WorkCover, complete the following steps if you haven’t already:
→ Managing a Practitioner Profile: Availability, Inactivity & Profile Deletion
→ Complete / Update Your Practitioner Profile
