Please ensure both your Avaana account and Cliniko system are open.
Steps
Log in to your administrator account in Cliniko. Then, click your name in the bottom-left corner of the screen and select My Info.
Under the heading API Keys, click Manage API keys.
⚠️ If you don’t see this option, click Allow yourself to create and use API keys and update your user profile first.
You will now be taken to the API keys page. From there, click + Add an API key in the right corner.
You can now enter a unique name for your API key to help you identify it later (for example, Avaana API Key).
5. After clicking Create API Key, a long string of letters and numbers will appear. This is your API key. Click Copy and make sure it has been saved, as the key will not be shown again.
6. After copying the key, return to your Avaana account and go to Calendar Integration in the left hand menu.
7. Select Cliniko from the dropdown menu, then paste your API key into the API key field (refer to the screenshot below for guidance).
8. After entering the API key, click Save Changes, then select Sync Cliniko in the bottom-right corner.
Your integration will begin syncing, and your practitioner/s and service information should appear at the bottom of the page within five minutes.
Need Help?
If the sync is not successful and practitioner and service information does not appear within a 5-10 minutes, please contact our Support Team.
