Learn how to grant your stakeholders or clients access to the Custom Analyst

Updated over 10 months ago

Creating a Custom Analyst on Avian is just the first step in leveraging AI for data analysis. The next crucial step is sharing your Custom Analyst with team members or clients to provide them with focused insights. Here's how you can do it:

Inviting Users to Your Custom Analyst

  1. Accessing the Custom Analyst: Once a Custom Analyst is created, it can be accessed at the top of the chat history window. To interact with the Analyst, hover over its name and click the three-dot menu to edit it.

  2. Inviting Team or Clients: On the top left part of the Custom Analyst editor, there's a button labeled "Invite Team or Clients." Click that.

  3. Sending an Invitation: A window will pop up where you can enter the email address of the person you'd like to add. After entering the email, click "Send email invite." You will receive a confirmation in the window that the email was sent successfully.

What Happens Next?

The invited user will receive an email from Avian with the following message letting them know that you've invited them to use the Custom Analyst with a link to create an account and log in.

Once the invited user creates their account, they will be brought to an Avian chat window that only allows them access to the Custom Analyst(s) that have been shared with them. They will not have admin privileges, such as viewing data sources, changing data sources, querying all accounts, or creating custom analysts. They can only interact with the Custom Analyst itself.

Ensuring Data Security

When sharing your Custom Analyst, it's crucial to maintain data security and privacy. The system is designed to ensure that invited users only have access to the specific data and analysis capabilities that you choose to share. They will not be able to view or modify underlying data sources, access other accounts, or create their own Custom Analysts. This ensures that your data remains secure and that each stakeholder only sees the information relevant to them.
