Here's what to expect:
Submit a request – Reach out to us via email (support@backpackpay.com) to let us know you’d like to close your account.
Identity verification – For security, we’ll ask you to confirm a few account details (like your name and phone number).
Final confirmation – Once verified, you’ll be asked to confirm that you want your account permanently closed.
Account closure – We’ll review your account for any pending activity before closing it and will notify you once it’s done.
Just a heads-up: Account closure is permanent. You won’t be able to access your Backpack account or any transaction history once it’s deleted.
