Sometimes you have multiple sessions within an event that you need to manage at once. This is where 'bulk actions' using filters on your Timetable come in.

Navigate to the Timetable tab on the left of your Dashboard.

Once you click on this, you will see a list of all your event sessions in upcoming order.

If you click on the 'Filters' button in the top left, you should see a menu with a variety of options by which you can choose which sessions show in your Timetable view. This is only changing the view for you, not your customers, so don't worry!

So, let's imagine in this case we want to change the time of some of our 'Dog Yoga.' In this case, we would filter by Event, then select 'Dog Yoga', and click 'Apply'.

Next, we will click on the little tick boxes alongside the particular sessions we wish to change. Then, press 'Bulk Actions'.

A drop down menu will appear with a list of bulk actions that can be taken on these sessions.

In this case, we are going to press 'Update time for all sessions.' This means the time will update on only the sessions we have ticked.

(please note, in the video, the navigation on the left is slightly outdated)

As you can see in the above video, a pop up tells you how many sessions are being affected by this change. In this case, we select an updated time from the drop down menu and then fill in the 'Reason for Change' box. The text you write here will be sent to the affected customers in a plain-text email which will allow them to accept the reschedule or cancel their booking if they cannot make the new time.

This is only one use-case example. There are plenty of other ways you can use bulk actions!

As you can see, you can 'Update location', 'Delete sessions with no bookings', 'Cancel all sessions', and 'Assign tutors to all sessions.' These work on much the same principles as the above example.

Please note, cancelling or deleting sessions here does not delete the event or refund the customer.
