Life is uncertain and therefore there are some changes to the schedule. We created a postponement and cancellation policy to help align students and teachers. We offer you enough flexibility while promoting discipline and commitment.

1. Rescheduling by Students:
Notification Period: Students must inform both the teacher and BananaThai at least 12 hours before the scheduled lesson to reschedule without losing credit.
Allowed Reschedules:
25-Hour Package: Up to 4 classes may be rescheduled without losing a credit.
12-Hour Package: Up to 3 classes may be rescheduled without losing a credit.
15-Hour Package: Up to 3 classes may be rescheduled without losing a credit.
50-Hour Package: Up to 8 classes may be rescheduled without losing a credit.
Emergency Rescheduling: In case of an emergency, students can reschedule without losing credit if they notify at least 6 hours in advance. Missed classes must be rescheduled within the package’s credit term.
Emergency Circumstances Include:
Medical Emergencies: Unexpected illness or injury requiring immediate attention or hospitalization.
Family Emergencies: Serious illness or accident involving a close family member.
Accidents: Car accidents or other significant incidents that prevent attendance.
Natural Disasters: Events like floods, earthquakes, or severe weather conditions that affect your ability to attend.
Urgent Personal Matters: Unexpected situations such as a sudden home emergency.
2. Rescheduling by Teachers:
Makeup Options: If a teacher cannot attend a scheduled class, they must offer alternative times for makeup lessons.
Credit Term Extension: If students are unable to accept the proposed schedule, the credit term will be extended by 7 days for up to 2 reschedulings and by 14 days for 3-4 reschedulings.
3. Missed Class Policy:
No-Show: If a student does not join the class within 20 minutes of the scheduled time and fails to notify the teacher, the session will be considered a no-show, and the class credit will be used.
4. Daylight Savings and Schedule Adjustments:
Time Zone Changes: Any changes due to daylight saving time will be based on the teacher’s local time zone. Both parties must agree on any necessary schedule adjustments, with support from BananaThai if required.
This policy ensures that both students and teachers have clear guidelines for managing and rescheduling private lessons, maintaining a smooth and organized learning experience.
