🥳 Welcome to Your Private Thai Lesson Program

Thank you for choosing BananaThai for your Thai learning journey. After you enroll in a private lesson package, our team will connect you with a teacher and provide all the necessary tools and materials to help you get started smoothly.

Below is a summary of what to expect after enrollment.

1. Confirmation Email and Initial Setup

We've sent you a confirmation email with essential information, including:

Lesson Package Details

  • Your selected lesson package (e.g., 25-hour private Thai lessons)

  • Expiration date (e.g., 90 days from the first class)

Lesson Schedule

  • Scheduled class time in Thailand Time (ICT)

  • First lesson confirmation

Zoom Access

  • A dedicated Zoom link for all lessons

  • This link will remain the same throughout the course

Shared Google Document

  • A personalized Google Doc for notes, homework, and feedback

  • Both you and your teacher will use this document during and after each session

2. Learning Materials Provided

To support your learning, you will receive the following:

  • Downloadable PDF textbook

  • Audio files for conversation practice:

  • Video introduction to Thai pronunciation and transliteration

  • Quizlet flashcard set for vocabulary review (Currently, the Pocket Thai course has not yet included the quizlet set)

These resources are designed to complement your lessons and help reinforce what you learn in class.

3. Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules may change. Please note the following policy:

  • If you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson, always inform both your teacher and the BananaThai team by replying to the confirmation email and keeping lesson@bananathaischool.com in CC.

  • Lessons canceled with less than 12 hours' notice will be deducted from your credit balance. (1 credit)

  • Students with a 12-hour package may reschedule up to 3 classes.

  • Students with a 25-hour package may reschedule up to 4 classes.

  • Please coordinate new times with your teacher before confirming any rescheduling.

4. Communication Guidelines

  • The email thread connecting you with your teacher will serve as the main communication channel. Keep the conversation in one thread.

  • Please keep lesson@bananathaischool.com in CC on all lesson-related correspondence. Our team helps ensure smooth communication, a seamless learning experience, and prompt support.

  • If urgent issues arise, you may also contact the BananaThai team directly via phone number or line contact.


5. Ongoing Support

If you encounter any technical issues, scheduling challenges, or questions about your lessons, you may refer to our Help Center at any time or contact our team at lesson@bananathaischool.com.
