Credit system overview

Learn how Banani's credit system works

Credits are used to generate and edit screens using AI. Every time you send a prompt that results in a successful generation or edit, credits are used. The number of credits depends on how much work the AI does for your request, so it can vary from one generation to another.

TL;DR

Each successful generation or edit uses credits. The exact amount varies depending on the work involved in your request. The Free plan comes with a one-time bundle of credits when you sign up — it does not refill. Paid plans get monthly credits plus daily refills.

You can always view your credit balance and refills schedule on credits page.

What uses credits

  • Generating a new screen with AI

  • Editing screen with AI

If a generation fails or produces no result, no credit is deducted. You're only charged for successful outputs.

All manual editing features like text editing, changing design tokens, and rearranging things on the canvas don't count as credits. Those are free actions you can do anytime.

Free plan credits

The Free plan includes a one-time bundle of 12 credits when you sign up. These credits do not refill — there are no daily or monthly top-ups on the Free plan. Once they're used, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan to keep generating.

Daily vs. monthly credits (paid plans)

On paid plans you have a total balance of credits, refilled at two moments: daily and monthly.

Daily credits refresh every day at midnight UTC. Unused daily credits roll over and accumulate, up to the max credits cap for your plan.

Monthly credits are granted at the start of each billing cycle. Monthly credits do not roll over to the next month.

Your max credits cap limits how many total credits you can hold at once from combined daily rollovers + monthly credits.

Current amounts: Plus gets 100 monthly credits plus 10 daily credits. Pro gets 600 monthly credits plus 10 daily credits.

Example (Plus plan)

You start a billing cycle with 100 monthly credits and get 10 daily credits, with a cap of 100.

  • Day 0: You start with 100 credits. You use 25, leaving 75.

  • Day 1: You get 10 daily credits, bringing you to 85. You don't use any.

  • Day 2: 10 more daily credits, now 95.

  • Day 3: 10 more daily would be 105, but the cap on the Plus plan is 100, so you max out at 100.
