Pro now includes 900 credits every month: 600 monthly credits plus a 10-credit daily refill. For the vast majority of Pro users this changes nothing, 900 credits/month is far more than a typical user gets through, and you'll likely never reach it.
How the credits work
Your 600 monthly credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. On top of that, you get 10 credits refilled each day, up to your plan's cap.
Credits are spent per generation, roughly 1 credit for a small edit and 2-3 for a new screen. Failed generations are never charged. You can always see your current balance and next refill on the Credits page.
Why we made this change
Banani's Pro plan was previously unlimited. A very small number of power users (more specifically, 5.6% of all Pro plan subscribers) were generating thousands of dollars of usage each per month, which made the plan impossible to sustain at its price.
Rather than raise prices for everyone or shut the plan down, we set a generous, fair ceiling that keeps Pro affordable and keeps Banani around for everyone who depends on it.
Need more than 900?
If you do reach your limit, you can buy credit top-ups at any time from the Credits page. Top-up credits are added on top of your plan, never expire, and are used only after your monthly and daily credits are spent — so nothing you buy goes to waste. Top-ups are also billed to your existing payment method and show up in your billing history as downloadable invoices.
If you have questions about your plan or usage, reach out to us any time, we're happy to help.
