Who this is for: All Barti RCM practices, including front desk staff, checkout staff, and practice administrators.
Before you start, you'll need:
An active Barti account with RCM enabled
Your TriZetto implementation in progress (your TriZetto rep will guide you through this)
What Barti RCM handles
The RCM team is responsible for:
Reviewing, scrubbing, and submitting claims placed in Hold status
Working denials and rejections weekly
Posting electronic remits (ERAs) from the TriZetto clearinghouse
Posting paper EOBs and checks uploaded to the Bill Billings profile
The RCM team does not handle:
Vision claims (exams or materials)
Accounts receivable for vision payers
Claims with a date of service prior to your RCM commencement date
Getting started checklist
Complete your TriZetto enrollment — your TriZetto implementation rep will walk you through this. Begin enrolling your insurance plans promptly; this is critical for timely payments and ERA receipt.
Check your TriZetto enrollment portal regularly for pending tasks. TriZetto will send automated reminder emails with subject lines beginning: Reminder: TriZetto Provider Solutions, LLC enrollment for [ORG NAME].

Designate a primary RCM contact at your practice. The RCM team will send task notifications to this person when additional information is needed.
