How do I set recurring blocks on my calendar in Barti?

In Appointments → Schedule, click a time slot, toggle on Recurring Event, choose an event type and repeat pattern, and save. Recurring blocks do not require a patient — they're used for lunch, meetings, out-of-office time, and similar events.

Editing a recurring block

When you click to edit an event that is part of a recurring series, Barti will ask you to choose the scope of your edit:

  • This event — changes apply only to the selected occurrence.

  • This and future events — changes apply to the selected occurrence and all following occurrences.

  • All events — changes apply to every occurrence in the series.

Removing a single occurrence without affecting the series

  1. Click the specific occurrence you want to remove.

  2. Select This event when prompted for edit scope.

  3. Delete the event.

The rest of the recurring series remains unchanged.

Ending a recurring series entirely

  1. Click any occurrence in the series.

  2. Select All events when prompted.

  3. Delete the event.
