About
The Activity completion widget provides a detailed overview of which activities students have finished within selected courses. It is designed for teachers and managers to track progress at a glance, allowing for quick identification of students who may be falling behind or have successfully completed their modules.
What is displayed?
The widget presents an interactive visualization and a detailed data table. The following elements are displayed:
Bar chart
The bar chart includes the following elements:
Dropdown filters – Menus at the top of the widget to filter data by course sections or students if enabled.
Color–coded status bars – Stacked bars indicating the percentage of students in different states:
Pink – Not completed
Green – Completed
Blue – Passed
Activity labels – The names of specific activities displayed along the horizontal axis of the chart.
Chart data table
The data table can be shown or hidden using the Hide chart data or Show chart data button. It includes the following information:
Activity Name – The title of the activity being tracked.
Completion percentages – The percentage of enrolled users who have not completed, completed, or passed the activity.
Available settings
In the widget preferences, the following options can be configured:
Course sections – Select specific sections to narrow down the activities displayed.
Groups – Filter the display to show only students from specific groups.
Courses – Select one or more specific courses to track.
Current course – Limit data to the course where the block is placed.
Relations – Filter by specific roles.
My groups – Show only data for groups the current user belongs to.
Users in one of my cohorts – Filter the display to students within the same cohorts as the user.
Cohorts – Select specific cohorts to display in the widget.
