Filters allow the end-user to search or narrow down the content displayed in the block. Enabled filters appear above the data area of the block, providing an interactive way for users to fine-tune the information they see.
You can find these settings when opening the preferences of a Dash block.
Note: Filters only act upon the data already allowed by the block's Conditions. If the data is restricted behind the scenes, a filter cannot make it reappear.
Available filters
The list of available filters depends on the data source the Dash block is relying on. Each data source comes with its own unique filter options. Widgets can also include filters, though these are typically very limited.
How to enable filters
Select the checkboxes for the filters you want to provide to your users.
