About
The Competency progress widget provides a clear overview of a student's standing within a specific competency framework. It translates complex proficiency data into easy–to–read progress bars, helping students track their journey toward mastery across different skill areas.
Note: This widget requires competencies to be configured in Moodle. For more information on how to set this up, refer to the official Moodle documentation.
What is displayed?
The widget utilizes a linear layout to visualize progress for each competency in a selected framework. The following elements are displayed:
Overall progress circle – A large circular indicator at the top showing the total percentage of completed competencies.
Competency names – The title of each specific competency listed above its respective progress bar (e.g., UX, Plugins, Practice).
Individual progress bars – Horizontal bars that fill as a student meets the requirements for a specific competency.
Percentage values – The exact percentage of completion displayed next to each progress bar.
Note: You can customize the color of each progress bar and add specific images for each competency in the global settings.
