When will monetization be available in other countries?

Right now, we are unfortunately limited by the number of countries supported by Stripe. We hope to continue expanding our monetization globally, but we're unable to share timelines at the moment.

Stripe Account

What fees are being deducted from my account?

The following fees are automatically deducted from your payout:

  • Beam.gg - 8% monetization fee

  • Stripe - 2.9% + $0.30 credit card processing fee

How do I collect payouts on Stripe?

Payout availability can vary based on the industry and country you’re operating in. The first payout may take longer for a number of reasons, including your country or being in a high-risk industry. In most cases, you won’t receive your first payout until 7–14 days after receiving the first successful payment.

Processing subsequent payouts then happens according to your account’s payout schedule. Your default payout schedule is daily automatic. You can change this in your Payout Settings to weekly automatic, monthly automatic, or manual payouts.

What do I do if the payout failed?

If your bank account can’t receive a payout for any reason, your bank sends the funds back to Stripe. It can take up to 5 additional business days for your bank to return the payout and inform Stripe that it failed.

If this happens, you’re notified via email and in your Stripe Dashboard. When a payout fails, you will be asked to re-enter your bank account details to ensure they are correct. After you re-enter your bank account details, Stripe attempts to perform the payout again at the next scheduled payout interval. You can resume payouts by clicking "Resume Payouts".

If you still haven’t received the payout from Stripe, nor have been notified that it has failed after a suitable amount of time, please contact Stripe directly.

How do I update my Stripe account information?

You can update your account and public business information in the Account Settings of your Stripe Dashboard. You also have the option to update private business information submitted to Stripe.

I forgot what bank information is associated with my account - how do I find that?

You can update your account details or add a new bank account any time in the Payout Settings of your Stripe Dashboard.

Can I customize how the invoice and receipt looks like?

Yes, you can customize how your brand appears by going to your Branding Settings. You also have the option to update your invoice template.

Can I add my own custom email domain?

Yes, you can customize the email domain used when sending messages to customers. Just go to the Email Settings of your Stripe Dashboard to set up your domain.

What currencies are supported?

Beam.gg lets you charge members in USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, and INR. Payouts, on the other hand, can be received in multiple currencies, based on the settlement currency of your bank account.

If your member subscription and payout currency do not match, Stripe will automatically convert this following your default payout currency.

What payment methods are supported?

Beam.gg accepts card payments made through:

  • Mastercard

  • Visa

  • American Express

  • China UnionPay (CUP)

  • Discover & Diners

  • Japan Credit Bureau (JCB)

Can I add a different payment method?

How do I delete my Stripe account?

You can close your Stripe account account by navigating to Settings > Account details in your Stripe Dashboard.
