What Broadcast does
Broadcast sends one message to many guests at once, filtered down to exactly the group you want. Find it under Broadcast in the sidebar. The subtitle sums it up: "Send a mass message to your guests."
Typical uses are a service interruption affecting several properties, a weather event, a change of arrival instructions, or introducing a new messaging number to guests who are already mid-stay.
Choosing the audience
Six dropdowns define who receives it, and they combine, so each one narrows the group further:
Listings, all or a subset
Select channels, all or specific booking channels
Owner status, which lets you include or exclude owner stays
Reservation status, such as Confirmed
Send message via, the channel the message goes out on
Guest status, such as current stays or upcoming stays
Beneath them sit the Message box and a Template variables picker, so a broadcast can still address people by name or reference their own property rather than reading as a form letter.
Always use View Qualifying Reservations
Treat this as a required step, not a preview. View Qualifying Reservations resolves your filters into the actual list of people who will receive the message. It is the only point at which an abstract set of dropdowns becomes a concrete list of real guests.
The reason to insist on it is that a broadcast cannot be recalled. A filter combination that looks obviously right can resolve to far more guests than you intended, or to almost none, and the difference between "current stays" and "upcoming stays" is one dropdown. Check the list, confirm the count looks like what you expect, and only then send.
Previous Broadcasts and Preview Broadcasts at the top right let you review what has already gone out and what is queued.
