Troubleshooting Your PMS Connection

What to do when you see the yellow reconnection banner or your Uplisting connection has expired.

The Yellow "Expires in X Days" Banner

If you see a yellow banner at the top of your Besty dashboard that says your connection "expires in X days," your PMS (Property Management System) integration needs to be re-authenticated.

This is a routine security requirement — your PMS connection periodically needs to be refreshed to keep Besty syncing your calendars, reservations, and guest data correctly.

How to Fix It

Click on the yellow banner and follow the re-authentication steps shown on screen. This typically involves logging back into your PMS account (e.g., Uplisting) to re-grant Besty access.

What Happens If I Ignore It?

If the connection expires before you re-authenticate, Besty will stop receiving updates from your PMS. This can affect:

  • Guest reservation data

  • Calendar syncing

  • Automated message timing

  • Door code delivery

We recommend re-authenticating as soon as you see the banner.

Still Having Issues?

If you've completed the re-authentication steps but the banner persists, or if your connection drops unexpectedly, contact us via chat or at support@getbesty.ai.
