This support article guides you through the process of updating a candidate's contact email and restarting a bounced email sequence in our system. This is particularly useful when an email to a candidate bounces, after which you can update the email address and re-send the sequence.
Step 1: Find candidates with bounced emails
Go to your project and click into the Bounced filter
Click on the candidate to open their profile details
Step 2: Update candidate's email
Click on the email icon
Enter a new email address
Click on the blue arrow to save the new email address
Make sure to select this email as a new default email by clicking on the blue radio button
Click on Done
Exit out of the candidate profile
Step 3: Re-send sequence
Select a candidate from the list using a blue checkbox
Click on the Restart bounced sequence button at the bottom of your screen
Confirm that you would like to re-send a sequence
The sequence status for the candidate with change to "Scheduled", and you will be able to find this candidate in the Scheduled filter
