On the left, you can see a list of subcontractor companies.
Each subcontractor of your depot needs a folder here, if the drivers are driving with Bettermile.
On the right you will either see the Bettermile App Accounts or the Backoffice User for the Subcontractor company.
Under Bettermile App Accounts you can create the drivers accounts - these are necessary to use the Bettermile App.
Create a Backoffice User for the responsible person that monitors the drivers for one subcontractor.
Keep in mind to always create the subcontractor company first, before you create the associated Backoffice User or Bettermile App Account.
Create a Subcontractor Folder
Click the plus-icon on the left side of the screen.
Enter the name of the company.
Save the folder! Perfect, now you can assign driver to this company.
Create an App account
Select a subcontractor company.
Go to the Bettermile app accounts tab.
Fill the creation form. Login has to comply with company specific rules (when it is not the case, an error message will pop-up). The phone number can only be used once across all depots. If the driver works in 2 depots, a courier-account in one of those depot should be used, in order to use the same phone number again.
Save the account! The driver can now connect to the app with their login, and ask for a temporary PIN that they will receive on their phone number.
You can also move a driver from a subcontractor company to another, using the button with 2 arrows
After 10 weeks of inactivity of an app account it will be automatically deleted
Create a subcontractor account
Select a subcontractor company.
Go to the Backoffice users tab.
Click the plus-icon.
Fill the creation form. Most of the time, only one role is available for subcontractors, and it is selected by default.
Save the account! The user will receive an email with a temporary password to connect to the Backoffice.
