Habit Scores are numerical ratings ranging from 300 to 850, designed to reflect the strength and consistency of your habits. Much like a credit score, these scores are challenging to build initially but demonstrate resilience once established. By actively engaging with BetterYou and consistently working towards your goals, you can elevate your Habit Score over time.

Building your Habit Score entails staying committed to your goals within the BetterYou app. Every time you successfully achieve a goal, your Habit Score receives a boost, indicating your progress towards forming sustainable habits. Even if you encounter occasional setbacks and miss a week or two of goal performance, your Habit Score remains relatively unaffected. This resilience acknowledges your past efforts and emphasizes the overall consistency of your habit-building journey.

Weekly Updates: Your Habit Score is updated every Sunday, giving you a fresh assessment of your progress each week.

Habit Scores are categorized into five distinct ranges, each reflecting a different level of habit formation:

Improving (300-599)

At this stage, you're actively working towards enhancing your habits, laying the groundwork for future progress. Your score shows you're in the early stages of building consistent wellness routines.

Fair (600-649)

You've made significant strides in your habit-building journey, demonstrating a commendable level of consistency and dedication. Your habits are starting to take shape!

Good (650-699)

Your habits are solidifying, and you're consistently achieving your goals, paving the way for continued growth and improvement. You're building a strong foundation for long-term success.

Great (700-749)

Your efforts have paid off, and you're now maintaining excellent habits, contributing to your overall well-being and success. You're in the top tier of habit consistency!

Fantastic (750-850)

Congratulations! You've reached the pinnacle of habit mastery, with exceptional consistency and commitment, setting a remarkable standard for yourself and inspiring others.

Where to Find Your Habit Score

Your Habit Score is prominently displayed in the Rewards Tab of the BetterYou app:

  1. Navigate to the Rewards Tab (bottom navigation)

  2. Look for the Habit Score Card at the top of the screen

  3. View your current score with a visual gear indicator

  4. See your performance level (Improving, Fair, Good, Great, or Fantastic)

  5. Check your next update date (every Sunday)
