How to Set Up Ticket Sales

Create Ticket Sales

Follow these steps to create and publish ticket sales for your event on Beventi.

Step 1: Access Ticket Sales

  • Log in to your Beventi Seller Dashboard

  • Click "Tickets" in the menu

  • Click "Sell Tickets"

Step 2: Create Your Event

  • Add your "Event Name"

  • You can also add a description of your event, and website link and Facebook group URL if applicable

  • Add the date, time and location of your event

  • Upload an event banner if you have one, and decide if your event will be listed publicly or privately (via direct link only)

  • Click "Create Event & Continue"

Currency:

  • This applies to all ticket prices

  • It is based on the event location by default

  • It cannot be changed after tickets are created

Step 3: Add Tickets and Add-ons

  • In "Tickets & Addons", click "Add ticket" to create your admission tickets

  • Add the ticket name, price, availability, description, and optional limit per customer

  • If needed, click "Add addon" to create optional extras buyers can purchase with eligible tickets

  • Use "Restrict to admission tickets" if an add-on should only be available with selected ticket types

  • You can also reuse past items with "Use a ticket from a previous event" or "Use an addon from a previous event"

  • Click "Continue" when you have finished adding your ticket types

You need at least one admission ticket before you can continue.

Availability:

  • Leave this blank for unlimited availability

  • You can create free tickets or free add-ons if needed

Step 4: Add Sale Settings

  • Set "Sale ends" to choose when ticket sales close

  • Add your "Refund policy"

  • If you need help writing a refund policy, click "View refund policy templates"

  • Click "Save settings & continue"

Refund policy:

  • A refund policy is required before your ticket sale can be published

  • Buyers will see this policy during checkout

Step 5: Add Products (Optional)

  • Add any extra products you want to upsell with your ticket sale

  • This step is optional

  • If you do not want to add products, continue to the publish step

Examples:

  • Signed books

  • Merchandise

  • Limited extras for attendees

Step 6: Review and Publish

  • Click "Review & publish"

  • Check your sale details, including:

    • Ticket count

    • Add-on count

    • Products

    • Sale end date

    • Refund policy

    • Currency

From here you can:

  • Click "Go live" to publish your ticket sale immediately

  • Click "Schedule for later" to choose a future date, time, and timezone

  • Click "Preview" to open the public ticket page before publishing

If anything is missing, Beventi will prompt you to go back and fix it before publishing.

FAQs

Can I save my progress and finish later?

Yes. Draft ticket forms can be resumed later from your ticket sales area.

Can I delete a draft ticket sale?

Yes. While the ticket sale is still in draft, click "Delete draft".

Can I change the currency after creating tickets?

No. Once tickets have been created, the currency cannot be changed.

Can I publish without a refund policy?

No. A refund policy is required before a ticket sale can go live.

Can I transfer tickets to someone else?

Not yet. This feature is coming soon.
