Understanding wholesale pricing, stock, and product rules
Wholesale product settings control what bookstores can buy, what they pay, how many units they can order, and when items can ship. Every product, variant, and bundle needs a valid wholesale price before publishing.
Item pricing
Use product settings to set a single wholesale price or quantity tiers. Quantity tiers allow you to offer lower per-item rates to bookstores for purchasing larger quantities.
The wholesale price is the amount bookstores pay before shipping, discounts, taxes, and fees.
Managing stock
Wholesale stock settings allow you to manage product and variant inventory from your catalog, set listing-specific stock limits, and view sold quantities on your listings.
If you have enabled inventory tracking, inventory may be shared across your sales channels (such as wholesale, direct sales, and event preorders). If inventory tracking is disabled, only listing-specific limits will apply.
Buyer and order rules
Based on your preferences you can set a per-customer limit, minimum and/or maximum order quantity, and pack sizes.
Set pack sizes when your products are only sold in fixed multiples such as cases or cartons.
Bulk edit products
Use bulk editing when several products should share the same price or rules. Review selections before saving, especially when variants or stock limits differ by item.
