Arrange sessions in the schedule grid

Use the desktop grid to move sessions, adjust duration and spot overlaps.

The Grid view places rooms across the page and time down the page. It is useful for arranging a busy program and comparing sessions running at the same time.

Work in the grid

  1. Open Schedule on a desktop-sized screen and choose Grid.

  2. Select the day you want to arrange.

  3. Drag a session block to change its time or room.

  4. Use the block's resize handles to adjust its duration.

  5. Open the item to check its exact time and other details.

Use Full screen for more working space. You can also add an item from a room column or double-click an empty time slot to start an item there.

Grid movements use time increments. For a precise time, open the item and enter it in the time controls.

Find the right sessions

Use the search and filters to narrow the program. The color key above the grid also works as a type filter. If a day looks empty, clear the filters before assuming the sessions are missing.

FAQ

Can I undo a move?

Use the grid's Undo and Redo controls while working. Review the affected items afterwards. This is separate from reverting unpublished changes to the last published version.

Why can I not see Grid on my phone?

The grid needs a wider screen. Use the list to manage items on a smaller device.

Does moving a block update the reader schedule immediately?

Review and publish the changed item times or rooms to update the published schedule.
