Undo unpublished changes and view schedule history

Revert pending edits to the published version and inspect earlier releases.

Use the publishing page to decide whether to release a pending change or return that item to the version readers already have.

Undo a pending change

  1. Open Publish changes.

  2. Find the item in the review list.

  3. Choose Undo.

  4. Read the confirmation carefully, then confirm Undo change.

The result depends on the change:

  • Added: the new, unpublished item is deleted.

  • Edited: the item returns to its published details and the edits are lost.

  • Cancelled: the unpublished cancellation is reverted to the published state.

  • Removed: the deleted item is restored from the published version.

Use Undo all only when you want to discard the entire set of unpublished changes. The confirmation explains which published version will be used and warns that discarded work cannot be recovered through this action.

Review earlier versions

Use View history in the schedule’s three-dot menu, or open History on the publishing page, and select a version. Review its items, change counts and publication information. Older versions may also show historical notification information. New email updates are managed separately in Broadcasts.

History is a record of earlier publications; opening an older version does not replace the current schedule.

FAQ

Is this the same as grid Undo?

No. Grid Undo reverses supported editing actions while you work. The publishing page's Undo returns pending changes to the published baseline.

Can I undo something readers already saw?

Once a change is published, correct the current schedule and publish another version. The pending-change Undo is for work that has not yet been published.
