Choose Map on an event's Beventi page to open the organizer's venue plans. You can use the map on a computer or in your phone's browser.
Choose a map
An event can have several maps, such as different floors, buildings or seating layouts. Use the map names on a larger screen, or open Choose a map from the current map's name on a phone. Maps may be grouped under headings chosen by the organizer.
Only the maps the organizer has made available appear. Some maps have separate access requirements, so you may be able to open one plan while another is locked.
A seating layout is a reference plan. Viewing it does not assign or reserve a seat.
Move around the plan
Drag to move around the map, and pinch to zoom on a touch screen.
Use Zoom in, Zoom out and Fit map to adjust the view.
Select a pin or an entry in the room and place list to focus that location.
On a phone, open the search/list panel when you need it. Show the map collapses the room details so you can see more of the plan.
On a computer or a phone in a supported landscape layout, hide the room list using its side handle and use the handle again to bring it back.
Choose Close or Close map when you have finished. You can also use the browser's Back action to leave the map. Changing maps and rooms does not create a separate Back step for every selection.
Find facilities
Look in Places for locations such as entrances, registration, restrooms, food, parking, stages, information points or accessible entrances. The available places and their labels depend on what the organizer has pinned.
Places are location markers. Rooms can additionally show their linked event sessions.
Download a PDF
If the organizer provides a PDF, use Download PDF in the map picker on a phone, or the download area in the side panel on a computer. Open or save the file to print it or keep a copy for later.
The download can contain the original multi-page PDF, even when the interactive map displays one selected page. Check the file's pages before printing. A saved PDF does not receive later changes and does not include the website's interactive room/session controls.
FAQ
Can I use the interactive website map offline?
Plan to have an internet connection when opening or refreshing it. There is no website map download mode. If a PDF is available, download it and check that it opens on your device before traveling. Follow the mobile app's separate offline guidance if using the app.
Can I use the map with a keyboard?
Yes. When the map canvas has focus, use the arrow keys to move, plus and minus to zoom, and 0 to fit the map. You can also use the room and place list instead of selecting a pin visually.
Does the map show my current position or give an indoor route?
The map displays the organizer's plan and pinned locations. It does not show your live GPS position or calculate an indoor walking route.
