Open the event's maps while online before you arrive. The app saves accessible map images on your phone so you can use them when the venue has poor reception.
Prepare and check your maps
Connect to the internet and sign in to the account you will use at the event.
Open the event and tap Map. Complete any access requirement while online.
Let the image load. Open Choose a map and check each plan you expect to need.
If you want room session information too, open the event's Schedule and let it load.
Briefly switch your phone offline, reopen the maps, and check the image and pins. Saved for offline indicates the current plan image has a saved local copy.
Reconnect afterwards to load any changes before you leave.
Saving happens automatically. Seeing a map name in the list does not prove its image has finished downloading. Check each map you plan to use.
What is available offline?
You can view map images and pins that have finished saving, switch between saved plans, and search information already stored on the device. Room sessions depend on having the schedule available too.
An offline map shows the last copy the app loaded. New maps, replaced images, changed rooms, and updated session details need an internet connection. Access requirements also need to be completed online.
PDFs are not included in the app's automatic offline map storage. Download PDF is only offered while online. External Directions opens another service and is not part of Beventi's offline venue map.
FAQ
Why does it say “This map is not saved on this phone yet”?
The app does not have the current map image saved locally. Reconnect, open the map, allow it to finish loading and saving, and test it offline again. This can happen even when the map's name is visible.
Will my maps survive signing out or reinstalling?
Signing out clears the app's saved map data and images. Reinstalling or clearing app data can also remove them. Reload your maps online after signing in again.
Are maps stored permanently?
No. The app cleans up old event map copies after the event, normally with a seven-day buffer after its end date. Keep a separate copy of an available PDF if you need a lasting reference.
Will every map become available offline after I open one?
The app attempts to save the accessible plans returned for the event, but downloads can fail or still be in progress. Check the plans you need offline before relying on them.
