Find sessions and rooms on an event map

Search rooms, places and session titles, check a room's program, and open a session's location from the schedule.

Use an event's Map to find a room and see the sessions linked to it. You can also go straight from a session's details to its room using Show on map, when that link is available.

Search the map

  1. Open the event's Map.

  2. Use the search field to enter a room name, place label or session title.

  3. Choose All maps to search across the available plans, or This map to stay within the current plan.

  4. Select a result. A room or place on another plan switches to that plan; a session result opens its details and focuses its mapped room when one is available.

Map search is narrower than schedule search. To search by a speaker or words in a session description, use Schedule instead.

Check what is happening in a room

Select a room pin or room-list entry. Depending on the published program, the room details show the current session, Next here, and other sessions grouped by day. Select a session to read its full details. You can save sessions and use an available RSVP control from the session details.

Choose Open in schedule to browse the event program. If an address and Directions link are shown, you can open directions to the supplied address.

Times and current-session indicators follow the event's timezone. Reopen or refresh the event while online to check for newly published changes.

Share a map or room

Copy the browser address after selecting the map and, if needed, the room. The link keeps the map and room selection. It does not grant access to a locked map.

A place selection, search phrase or zoom position is not included in the shared link. When sharing a facility, include its name so the recipient can find it on the map.

FAQ

Why does a room say No sessions today?

There may be no published, accessible session linked to that room for the current event-local date. Open the room to check other days or use the main schedule. It does not mean the room or venue is physically closed.

Why is there no Show on map link on my session?

The session needs a room linked to a pin on a map available to you. A typed location name alone may not have a matching map pin. The link is also absent in an embedded schedule on another website.

Can I find an author's signing table using the map?

This map searches room names, place labels and session titles. To find an author's scheduled session, search for the author in Schedule, open the session and use Show on map if offered. For a signing-table assignment, check the organizer's map labels or ask the organizer.

Does a room's seat count tell me how many RSVP places are left?

No. A room capacity is different from a session's RSVP availability. Open the session and check its RSVP status.
