How to Successfully Connect to Privredna Banka Zagreb (PBZ)

Connecting to PBZ can sometimes be tricky due to issues in the authentication process. Follow these alternative steps to complete your connection successfully.


To successfully connect with PBZ use #withKEY authentication method or manually move the connection flow to a desktop computer.


Option 1: Use the #withKEY Authentication Method

If the standard flow gets stuck after authenticating in the PBZ app, try this workaround:

  1. Start the connection process in the Bilance app. You will be automatically redirected to your internet browser

  2. Enter your IBAN and continue.

  3. You will get a notification from your bank app, DO NOT press on the PBZ mobile app notification.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and choose "Other ways to authenticate".

  5. Choose an alternative authentication method on the PBZ webpage: "#withKEY".

  6. Open the PBZ mobile app and use the #withKEY method to authenticate.

  7. After authenticating, you should be redirected back to the Bilance app, completing the connection successfully.

Option 2: Complete the Process on a Desktop Computer

If you prefer, you can bypass mobile redirection issues by completing the process on a computer:

  1. Start the connection process in the Bilance app.

  2. When the internet browser is opened copy the web page URL from your mobile browser and send it to yourself (via email, messenger, etc.).

  3. Open the link on your computer.

  4. Follow the connection steps on the computer, using the PBZ mobile app to authenticate as needed.

  5. Go back to the Bilance app.
