When a document is uploaded to Billy, either by yourself, one of your team members, or a vendor, the document needs to be reviewed against requirements to decide if it is compliant, or a revision is required.
Here's a quick video (less than 2 minutes) walking you through this easy process:
Needs Attention Page: Reviewing Documents
The Needs Attention Page is the best place to review documents. In the Needs Review tab, review all documents submitted across all projects, or filter by project to review only the documents submitted for a particular project.
Needs Review Tab
Filter by All Projects or a Specific Project
Click Review Document to review the file that was submitted.
Evaluation Tab
In the Evaluation tab the file to review is on the left and the requirements are on the right. Click on each requirement to review it against requirements.
Billy's OCR technology logs information contained in the file, saving you valuable time in data entry.
Visual indicators expedite your review. The green check mark tells you the limits meet or exceed your requirements, and the red X tells you the limits do not meet requirements. Your requirements are listed below each limit text field to compare against what was received.
Review Statuses
The final step in reviewing a requirement is applying a review status. You have 4 choices:
Approve - Requirements match what the vendor submitted exactly.
Approve Non-compliant - Requirements were not met, but you are ok with marking them as approved.
Waive - Override the vendor's need to provide this requirement now and in the future.
Reject - Requirements were not met and a revised document is required.

Approval Process During Reviews
The Internal Notes tab centralizes the approval process in Billy. Leave a note and send an email notification to any Billy user to initiate the approval process.
