Can BirdEase accept credit cards? Setting Up BirdEase Payments

How to Link a Merchant Account/Collect Credit Card Payments.

BirdEase is integrated with various merchant providers. To see what merchants BirdEase integrates with navigate to Payments and then General in your Event Dashboard.

If you currently have a merchant provider, scroll down the page to check and see if we are integrated with your merchant provider. Once integrated, when registrants pay thru BirdEase it will go directly to your merchant provider.

I Don't See my Merchant Provider

If you do not see your Merchant Provider on the list and still want to accept credit card payments, we offer BirdEase Payments.

BirdEase Payments

BirdEase Payments can be set up within 2-4 business days and you can start accepting payments for your event once your application has been approved and your account has been activated.

  • No monthly fees - No worrying about cancelling or closing the account

Setting Up BirdEase Payments

To being using BirdEase Payments, navigate to the Payments and then General.

  1. Click on the START ACCEPTING CREDIT CARDS button.

    1. If you have an existing BirdEase Payments account, it will prompt you if you want to use that one for this event or create a new one.

  2. A new tab will open in your browser that will contain the application.

    1. This application can always be completed at a later date. To access the application after you have closed it, navigate to the Payments and then General.

      1. Click on the Finish Set Up button in the yellow alert box.

  3. Once application is submitted and all correct information has been reviewed by our payment partner, you will be approved to accept credit cards on your event site. If our payment partner requires any further information to approve your application, our Support Team will reach out to you. The approval process typically takes about 3 business days, as long as all of the information filled out on your application is correct.

    1. After you submit your application you will be prompted to fill out your bank account information.

      • This step is optional at this time but we highly recommend doing it right after your application is submitted to ensure you can get deposits as soon as your application is accepted.

Linking Bank Account For Birdease Payments

Linking a bank account to your BirdEase Payments account is vital to getting your funds from your event. To link a bank account you must log into your BirdEase Payments account.

  1. Once logged in click the Accounts menu in the navigation.

  2. Click on the account you would like to link a bank account.

  3. There will be a Bank Account tab underneath the account name at the top of the screen.
