How to Construct & Send a Bulk Email Blast in the Message Center

Construct an email in the message center, add emails from your email lists/registrants/participants, and send the email

Sending bulk email messages from BirdEase is an important way to notify potential and existing registrants about your event. To create an email blast, navigate to Message Center and then Messages.

Creating an Email Blast/Message:

  1. Click Create New Message button.

  2. Fill in the Message Content tab.

    • There are two inputs on the Message Content tab.

      • Message Subject

        • This is the subject of the email.

      • Message Content

        • This is the body of the email.

    • Utilize the Insert Variables button to personalize the email.

  3. Once Message Content is filled out, send a test to yourself to verify that everything looks good in an email.

  4. Navigate to the Recipients tab under the Message Content tab.

  5. Add the recipients/emails to whom you want this message to be sent to.

    1. There are multiple ways to add recipients:

      1. Add entering a First Name, Last Name and Email address and clicking Add Email.

      2. The other options are all under the Import Items dropdown.

        1. Upload CSV Document

          1. The document must be have the headers "First Name", "Last Name", "Email".

        2. Email List

          1. Email lists can built in the Message Center. These are good so they can reused between messages.

        3. Previous Message

          1. If you already sent out a message and want to send a follow up to the same people.

        4. Registrations/Participants/Auction

          1. If you want to email all registrants/participants/auction winners from any one of your events.

  6. Navigate to the Send & Track tab under the Recipients tab.

  7. Click the Send Message button.

    1. This will automatically save the message before sending.

    2. You can come back to Send & Track tab of this message to view deliverability stats.
