Disclosing and Sharing Legal Documents and Disclaimers

It's common that agents need to share licensing info, disclosures, Equal Housing logos etc. Here's are a few ways it can be done.

Sharing Disclosures and Documents with Open House Visitors

To share disclosures or PDF documents with Open House Visitors (ex: when a buyer prospect fills out their info they receive specific docs), there are a few options* that can be configured in the Edit Listing screen:

  • send a link to the doc in your follow up text

  • include a link to the doc in the Listing Microsite's More Info field

You can upload your document to Google Drive to get a URL for it (and there's no cost to this Google Drive functionality). Here's how:

1. Upload your PDF to Google Drive. (Drag-and-drop the PDF file into Google Drive to upload it).

2. Right-click on the PDF file > Get link.

Google Drive. A PDF is selected, the right-click context menu is open. The "Get link" option is highlighted and has the mouse cursor on top of it.

Disclosing real estate license info on the My Link and listing microsites

In the My Profile 👤 screen there's a section where you can add your Company/Brokerage, Title, and License.

By default, only your Company/Brokerage is displayed on the My Link and listing microsites.

If you'd like to display your title and license info, there are toggles in the legal section within My Profile 👤 so you can toggle each to be visible on your My Link microsite and listing microsites.

Adding custom disclaimers on listing marketing

Option 1: You can include a logos like Equal Housing Opportunity or REALTOR® on the property photo you add to Curb Hero. Here's a video tutorial that shows how (and we've attached the logo below so you can download and use):

Option 2: You can also include up to two custom disclaimers right below your name and brokerage in the footer within the My Link and listing microsites.

Just enable the toggle for one or both of the "Show Additional Disclaimer" options and add the disclaimer text and URL.

If you have a document you want to link to, see above for how to create a link from any document using Google Drive.

Anyone interested in more info about the disclaimer will go to the corresponding URL after they tap/click on the disclaimer text.

For some states (ex: Texas) there's a requirement for these disclaimers to be shown above the agent's signature so we've included an option to place these disclaimers ABOVE or BELOW the agent's name (which is effectively the signature).
