What is the My Link Takeover?

First here's what My Link is: It is a branded marketing microsite that's made for your mobile audience to find content that you've decided is important for your business.

Here's a Video that walks through our Dynamic QR Code as well as the My Link Takeover

Note: If you haven't created a My Link yet we go over it briefly in the video above BUT more info on how to do that here.

When using My Link just as a link-in-bio for your social media, it makes sense to have all of your content laid out like a menu for your audience to select from.

However, when you start driving more targeted campaigns to your My Link especially when using a QR Code, you may need to focus on a specific property. Here is an example:

You are holding an Open House at 742 Evergreen Terrace and using a QR Code on all of your Open House Signs so people can get more info about the property (like the address and general description)...

(scan the code โ˜๏ธ to see it in action)

When someone scans that QR code, you want to make sure the info for 742 Evergreen Terrace is front and center.

This is where the Takeover comes in.

How to set up the My Link Takeover

Here's what you'll need to do before enabling a listing to be a Takeover

Now, in the My Link menu, select the star icon next to the listing that you want to be the Takeover and you'll see that this listing is prominently featured on top of all your other My Link content in a content overlay.

Your audience can now select the large button at the bottom of the takeover to see the full listing microsite.

They can also close the listing using the X on the top right and be able to browse your other My Link content.

Setting an Open House Sign-in as My Link Takeover

This can be done by selecting a listing within your My Link screen.
โ€‹

Then an overlay will open where you can select the Open House Sign-in option.

This setting results in the Open House Sign-in prompted.
