How to create an automatic Exchange Integration?

Updated over a month ago

Automatic Exchange Integrations can be created by entering an API key and secret once. Your transactions and balances are then imported automatically into your Blockpit Integration.

Adding an automatic Exchange Integration

  1. In order to enter your data, you must first create an Integration.
To do so, click the top menu item on +Integration.

  2. You can choose between Exchange, Wallet, Blockchain and Manual Integration.

  3. Select Exchange and then an exchange from the list.

If you could not find your exchange in the list, the automatic import is not yet available. In this case, you will need to import your data into a Manual Integration, following our instructions.

  4. Name your new Integration accordingly.

  5. To import data into an Exchange Integration, you need your API key and the secret from your Exchange account. Please follow the instructions in Blockpit or the specific guide to get your API key and secret.

  6. Copy them into the input fields in the window for creating a new Integration.

Tip: Keep "First Transaction" (Full History) as the default start date. Selecting a specific start date only makes sense if you want to add transactions that are before the start date manually.

  7. Finally, click on Continue to save your new Integration.

πŸ’‘ The asset balance of your new account should be the first thing you see.
The import of all transactions can take up to a few hours.

2️⃣ When using subaccounts, each subaccount must be imported into a separate Blockpit Integration. To do this, you must create a new Blockpit Integration using a special subaccount API key.
