Home charging reimbursement allows fleet managers to compensate drivers for the electricity used when charging their fleet vehicles at home. Follow the steps below to set up home charging reimbursement:

Please note that Geotab integration is required to activate the home charging reimbursement feature. Make sure your Geotab integration is set up before proceeding.

βHow to Set Up Geotab Integration with Bluedot
Step 1: Open the Driver Tab
Log in to your Bluedot account.
Navigate to the Drivers tab.
Step 2: Select the Driver
Choose the driver you want to set up for home charging reimbursement.
Step 3: Open the Reimbursement Section
In the driver's profile, open the Reimbursement section.
Step 4: Activate Home Charging Reimbursement
Activate the switch in the Home Charging Reimbursement status.
Step 5: Set the Charging Rate
Set the charging rate in kWh from the section below.
Step 6: Enter Home Address and Define Charging Area
Enter the home address of the driver.
Enclose the home address in a polygon on the map. Charges made within this area will be included in the reimbursement.
Step 7: Check Reimbursement Status
After setting up, you can check the home charging reimbursement status of all your drivers from the 'Reimbursement' tab.
Additional Notes
Make sure the home address is accurately defined within the polygon to ensure correct reimbursement.
Verify the charging rate per kWh to match the local electricity rates or company policy.
