Adding a Job to Scheduler

A detailed look at how to set up and use our scheduler feature for your team.

Our scheduler feature allows you to easily schedule jobs for your team and maximize your capacity.


Adding a Job to Scheduler

1. Go into an order in Boatyard

To start using the scheduler, you want to first go to the order that you wish to schedule.

2. Click on the 3 dots next to the line item and then click on 'Create Job'

3. Give your job a title

You can name your job anything you like. You are able to search for the scheduler by the job title, so this is a great place to add your work order or RO number.

4. Click to assign the job to a technicians

If you don't know who you want to assign the job to, you can leave this black.

5. Next, add the number of ESTIMATED HOURS for the job

It is up to you and your team if you use the billable hours or the actual hours for the job.

6. Enter any additional information and click SEND

7. Next, go to the scheduler by clicking on SCHEDULING and then SCHEDULER

8. Click the + to check out your queue of unscheduled jobs

9 You can drag and drop the event from the queue into your schedule

If you need to reschedule a job, you can easily drag it from one day or technician to another.

You can drag and drop the events from the queue into your schedule.

And that's it! Your job is now scheduled and will appear in the Boatyard Pro app for your technician.


See More Information About a Job

To see more information about and event or job, simply hover over the event card in the scheduler.

This includes:

  • Customer name and boat information

  • Order ID

  • Job title

  • Service

  • Job status

  • Assignor (the team member that created the job)
