There are times when you might not have a valid boat insurance policy saved in the dashboard for your customer.
It is easy to request a customer's boat insurance information with just a couple of clicks. Read through the step-by-step process below to learn how.
Requesting Boat Insurance
Once logged into the dashboard, click on the 'CUSTOMERS' button at the bottom of the left-side menu.
You can then search for your customer and click on their name to open their account information.
In the bottom right corner you will a Boat Insurance section. You can then click on the "Request Insurance" button.
Next, you will be asked to confirm that you wish to send the insruance request to the customer. Simply click 'CONFIRM' to request a card be added to their profile.
After clicking on 'CONFIRM,' the customer will receive the request to add insurance information.
You'll also be asked to send a personalized message to the customer, so they know it's a real request coming from you and not spam or phishing mail.
You will receive an email and a notification in the dashboard to let you know when the customer has added their insurance information.
