Boatyard Portal User Guide

When your Marina signs up for Boatyard, they have a customer portal where you can place orders, engage with their team and and pay your invoices.

This article is designed to answer whatever questions you may have while using your Marina's customer portal.

A sample customer portal:

To sign up for your marina's customer portal, you can click on "Sign Up Now" to the left of the portal menu.

Once registered, you'll be able to request services, chat with your service technicians, view your order history, and fully access your marina's customer portal.

Adding a payment method to your Boat Wallet

Your Boat Wallet is where you can add your boat insurance, as well as a secure payment method to pay your service invoices.

Select Boat Wallet โžก๏ธ Payment Method to add a payment method to your portal.

๐Ÿ”’Credit cards stored on Boatyard are safe, secure & PCI-DSS compliant with industry-leading security protocols to protect customer information.

Need to delete your card?

To delete the card on file in your portal, navigate to the Boat Wallet โžก๏ธ Payment method and click on the 3 dots next to the card you wish to remove, then click on delete and then delete again in the confirmation pop-up.

๐ŸŽ‰ That's it! Your payment method is now removed and you can add a new one.

Adding your Boat Insurance to your Boat Wallet

To add your boat insurance, navigate to the Boat Wallet โžก๏ธ Insurance.

Add the relevant information on the insurance screen:

  • Insurance Company

  • Policy number

  • Expiration Date

  • Claims Phone Number

  • Add your Policy Document (optional)

  • Make sure you share the policy with your marina

  • Click on the "Add to Boat Wallet" button to save your information

  • ๐ŸŽ‰ That's it!

    You are done adding your boat insurance to your portal.

Adding a new Boat

From your portal, you will select My Boats and on the next screen you will see your boats as well as a blank card that says + Add New Boat.

Add in the relevant information such as your boat:

  • Name

  • Make

  • Model

  • Year

  • HIN

  • Length

  • Registration

  • Location

  • You also have optional fields such as the Marina name, slip, and any images or videos you wish to add.

Click on the blue Add My Boat button to save the details and that's it! ๐ŸŽ‰

You've added your new boat to your portal. Now you can easily make service requests for the new vessel.

What Information Can Be Changed in Your Profile

Your customer portal allows you to update your name, address, and your phone number.

โš ๏ธYour email address cannot be changed once the account is created. If you need to change it, you can contact support by navigating to Boatyard.ai and clicking on the link on the left of the screen which has a link to technical support.

How to Place an Order

Selecting a service through the customer portal is super easy!

  • Click on "Select A Service"

  • Select which service you need from the service menu

  • Add any notes

  • Specify your time frame.

How to Chat with Your Service Team

From your portal, you want to click on the "Chat" section of the menu. This will open up the chat box where you can communicate directly with your service team! You can add attachments to the chat as well.
