Quick link to library categories
To navigate your libraries efficiently, (when your browser page extends beyond 1.5 x page length) you will see the 'Quick Link' navigation toolbar.
Clicking on the library category will auto-scroll to the chosen category, saving you scroll time and reducing fatigue. β
Note: If you do not have a domain license you will not see Central libraries on your menu. You can read the support article to learn more about them.
Search by library name
To find and open a specific library, click in the search option of the navigation bar and start typing the library name, you will be presented with all the libraries that have a partial match on the text. Click the library name to open the library.
Sorting and organizing your libraries your way
Quick sort
Libraries can be sorted alphabetically or by library creation date. Library sorts are constrained within the host categories. Click on the quick sort option and choose your preferred sort order. Your chosen sort order will be applied.
Drag and drop
If you want greater control of your library ordering, drag and drop provides custom ordering of libraries.
To drag and drop a library using a mouse:
Hover your cursor over the library you want to move, the cursor will change to show four arrows.
Click and hold the left mouse button and drag the library to your desired location.
Release the mouse button and your library will drop into place. The sort order will change to 'Custom'.
Note: You cannot drag and drop libraries across library categories.
If you choose a quick sort option (when a custom sort is applied), you will be advised that a custom sort is in place, and asked to confirm your changes.
To drag and drop a library using touch screen:
If you are using a touch screen or keyboard navigation, select the library three dot menu.
Select 'Move to'....
3. ...Choose the new position for the library and click 'Move'.
Personalize each library's appearance with icons and colors
To quickly identify a library at a glance or to help students recognize a specific library, you can personalize it with icon and color combinations.
To change a library icon:
Click on the library icon and the icon picker and color picker menu will open.
Choose your favorite icon and color.
Click anywhere on the blue background to automatically save your changes.
What will my students see?
Students who can see your library listed on their 'My libraries' menu (meaning you've already shared a library with them), will see the icon changes, helping them recognize which library to open.
What will invited teachers see?
Teachers who you have invited as members or co-teachers, will see your shared library displayed with your chosen icon.
Note: Where there is no icon set for your library, joined members will see your avatar, where there is no avatar, they will see your initials.

Q. Can I add my own icons or colors to library cards?
A. Not yet, but we hope to enhance this area in the future to allow a greater selection of icons and colors.
Q. Can I search for specific books inside my libraries?
βA. Not yet, but we hope to enhance the search function in the future to help you find all content and resources faster.
Q. I don't see Central Libraries in the navigation; What are Central libraries?
A. Central libraries are a premium, domain-license feature that allows Admins and Library Managers a way to share information with all teachers in your organization immediately. If you are a free account user or not a member of an organization you will not have access to Central libraries. You can read the support article to learn more about them.
