Book Creator can be added to Schoology allowing teachers and students to sign in without needing to create an account.
You will need a school or district subscription to Book Creator with access to the Admin Dashboard.
Step 1. Install Book Creator
Find Book Creator in the Schoology App Store. You can quickly find the app here: https://app.schoology.com/apps/profile/7078121176
Click Install LTI 1.1 App and confirm the installation, then choose Add to Organization.
Book Creator will now be listed in your Organization Apps
Step 2. Get your LTI credentials from the Admin Dashboard
Sign into https://admin.bookcreator.com and choose Settings -> LMS Integration from the left hand menu. Then click on generate to make an LTI Key and Secret which you'll need shortly.
Step 3. Configure Book Creator
Returning to Schoology and your Organization Apps. Click on Configure and enter the Consumer Key and Shared Secret with the values from Book Creator's Admin Dashboard then click on Save settings.
Back in your list of Organization Apps click Install/Remove and make Book Creator available for your users, courses and groups, and then click Submit to finish.

Frequently asked questions
What will happen if some of my teachers or students already have Book Creator accounts?
This is fully supported. We will match an account from their email address and all of their books and libraries will be available to them. They can also continue to sign in with their original method (Google, Office 365 etc) alongside a Schoology sign in.
Can teachers sign in through Schoology without a paid Book Creator licenses?
Yes, you can make Book Creator available to all your teachers through Canvas. If no Book Creator license is available for them in the Admin Dashboard we will automatically assign them the free version of Book Creator.
How can I revoke or rotate my Consumer Key and Shared Secret?
Once you have created a key and secret you will see a blue "revoke" button next to the key:
Click this button to revoke the existing key and secret and then follow the instructions again from Step 2 above to re-generate a new key.
