📌 Method: PunchCardDistribution

This article explains how we calculate the distribution of punch card memberships.

How is the punch card distribution calculated?

  1. Find all punch card memberships

    • We will draw all punch cards sold during the specified period.

  2. Group by segment

    • Distribution can be broken down by gender, age, or number of visits.

  3. Calculate the percentage distribution

    • We count how many members have punch cards.

  4. Visualize data

    • Data is displayed as a pie chart.

Example calculation

We calculate the punch card distribution in March.

Punch card-type

Number of cards sold

Percentage distribution

5 clips

300

50%

10 clips

200

33.3%

20 clips

100

16.7%

  1. Calculate percentage distribution for 10-clip cards: 200600×100=33.3%\frac{200}{600} \times 100 = 33.3\%600200×100=33.3%
