📌 Method: DropInDistribution

This article explains how we calculate the distribution of drop-in visitors – i.e. members who pay per visit.

>How is the drop-in distribution calculated?

  1. Find all drop-in visits during the period

    • We retrieve data on all single visits during the specified time period.

  2. Group by segment

    • Distribution can be broken down by gender, age, or frequency of visits.

  3. Calculate the percentage distribution

    • We count how many visits fall into each category.

  4. Visualize data

    • Data is displayed as a pie chart showing the distribution of drop-in guests.

Example calculation

We calculate the drop-in distribution for the month of March.

Visit type

Number of visits

Percentage distribution

Once

500

50%

2-4 times

300

30%

5+ times

200

  1. Calculate the percentage distribution for visitors who came 2-4 times: 3001000×100=30%\frac{300}{1000} \times 100 = 30\%1000300×100=30%

Why is this important?

Understand how many of your customers are only visiting once vs. returning guests
Identify potential members who can be upgraded to a membership
Customize marketing strategies to convert drop-in guests into regular members

💡 Result: A pie chart showing the drop-in distribution.
