Do I scan the QR code with my phone camera?
No. You should not use your phone’s regular camera app to scan the QR code.
The QR code must be scanned inside the Booking Board app using the built-in QR scanner.
The QR scanner is used for check-in and is only available from the class you are registered for.
How to check in with the QR code
Open the Booking Board app.
Go to the class you are registered for.
Tap the FAB button (floating action button) in the bottom-right corner.
Select “Check-in”.
The QR scanner will open automatically.
How to scan the QR code
The app opens your phone camera automatically.
Place the QR code inside the square scanning area on the screen.
Hold your phone still and make sure the QR code is:
Clear
Well lit
In focus
You do not need to press any button.
When the QR code is detected:
The scanner stops automatically
The scanner closes
Your check-in is completed
Troubleshooting
I cannot find the Check-in option
The Check-in option is only available from a class you are registered for.
Try:
Opening the correct class in the Booking Board app
Checking again on the day of the class
Making sure the app is updated
I scanned the QR code with my phone camera, but nothing happens
The regular camera app is not connected to Booking Board.
Close the camera app and scan the QR code through the QR scanner inside the Booking Board app.
The scanner does not detect the QR code
Try:
Placing the QR code inside the scanning area
Holding your phone still
Making sure there is enough light
Turning on the flashlight in the scanner
Checking that the QR code is not blurry or damaged
I scanned the QR code, but I am not checked in
Try scanning the QR code again.
If the issue continues, make sure you are checking in from the correct class and that you are registered for it.
Contact your fitness center if you are still unable to check in.
Important:
The check-in QR code must always be scanned through the Booking Board app — not through your phone’s regular camera app.
