Step-by-step guide
1. Header area (top of screen)

Profile picture: Shows a round profile picture of the employee assigned to the shift. If the employee has no picture, a person icon is shown instead.
Employee name: The name of the employee assigned to the shift. Displayed in bold white text.
Contract name: The name of the contract (e.g. "Instructor" or "Receptionist"). Displayed below the employee name.
Background colour: The banner uses a colour matching the employee's assigned colour. If no colour is assigned, the app's default colour is used.
2. Date and time
Below the header you see a card with date and time information for the shift.
Calendar icon: A coloured calendar icon matching the employee's colour.
Date: Shows the shift date in long format (e.g. "Monday 10 February").
Time interval: Shows start and end time (e.g. "08:00 - 16:00").
Duration badge: A small grey badge on the right showing the total duration of the shift (e.g. "8h" or "4h 30m").
3. Location
If the shift has a linked location, a card with location details is shown. This card is only shown if a centre or specific location has been registered.
Location icon: A pin icon indicating the card is about location.
Centre name: The name of the centre (gym) where the shift takes place.
Specific location: A more precise location, e.g. "Studio 2" or "Reception". Shown below the centre name if provided.
4. Linked class
If the shift is linked to a specific class, a card with the class name is shown. This card is only shown when the shift has a linked class.
Coloured bar: A small vertical coloured bar on the left matching the class colour.
Class icon: An icon representing a class/group of people.
Class name: The name of the class linked to the shift (e.g. "Spinning Beginner").
Arrow: A chevron arrow on the right indicating you can tap to see class details.
Tap the card to navigate to the Class Details screen and view all information about the linked class.
5. Description
If the shift has a description, it is shown in a separate section. The section is only shown if a description has been written for the shift.
Section heading: The heading "Description" with a text icon on the left.
Description text: Free text describing the shift or any special instructions.
6. Action button (your own shift only)
At the bottom of the screen an action button is shown, but only if the shift belongs to you. The button changes depending on whether the shift is already offered for swapping.
Scenario A — Shift is NOT offered for swap:
Swap shift: An orange button with a swap icon. Tap to make the shift available for swapping with other employees. The app sends a request, shows confirmation "Your shift is now available for swapping" and navigates you back.
Scenario B — Shift IS offered for swap:
Cancel swap: A red button with an X icon. Tap to withdraw the swap offer. The app sends a request, shows confirmation "The shift is no longer available for swapping" and navigates you back.
7. Loading state
While shift data is being fetched from the server, a skeleton view with animated placeholders is shown. You do not need to do anything — the screen updates itself once data has loaded.
